Learn Anything

Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026

Learn Anything ("we", "us") is a learning app that generates personalized study material from a topic you give it. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can remove it.

What we collect

How we use it

Your prompts and goals are sent to AI language model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) solely to generate your personalized learning content. We use the YouTube Data API to suggest related videos for a topic — this sends the topic text to Google, governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Generated audio (lesson read-alouds, podcast-style episodes) is stored on our object storage provider so it can be streamed back to your device.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data retention and deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Once confirmed, we transactionally remove your account credentials, learning goals, paths, lessons, and progress records. There is no recovery period. We also record durable cleanup requests for generated audio and other stored media; that object cleanup is processed asynchronously, so physical media removal can finish after the account records are gone.

Anonymous device sessions follow a separate retention policy. Removing or uninstalling the app clears its local session, but does not itself prove deletion of any server-side anonymous data. Eligible anonymous data may be removed after the policy's grace period.

Children's privacy

Learn Anything is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
